Register Any Time, but Early is Best

Class sizes are limited and many fill quickly, but you are welcome to join our classes at any time. We do not prorate registration fees unless you are joining the class more than half-way through its schedule. Registering early does help ensure that you get your first choice and that we have your child's materials for you at your first class. If space permits you enroll after the session begins, we will schedule makeup classes or pro-rate tuition if you have missed more than two classes.

Choosing a Class

Because each curriculum is developmentally specific, in most cases your child should be at least the minimum age for the class in which you are enrolling. However, we realize there are exceptions to every rule. If you have concerns about your child's success in a class, we will gladly discuss your child's needs and work with you to place your child in the class best suited for him or her.

Enrollment Confirmation

A registration form and payment (or deposit, as advertised) must be received before your child's place in class will be reserved. Full payment is due no later than the first day of the class schedule. If payment is not received, the space will be released. If you have paid for a class that does not make, we will get in touch about alternative choices and/or offer you a full refund. If you are attempting to enroll for a class that is full, we will offer you alternatives and/or place you on a waiting list.

Make-up Classes

We are happy to allow students who miss a class to make up that class as space is available. Simply call in advance to schedule make-ups. If classes are cancelled due to inclement weather or teacher illness, those classes will be made up, generally by extending the semester. We follow Davidson County Public Schools decisions. If Davidson County has a snow delay, our classes will run as usual.

Non-enrolled Siblings

We regret that Village and Our Time classes cannot accommodate non-enrolled siblings, except for those young enough to stay contented in a carrier or sling during class. Siblings of students enrolled in ImagineThat! or Young Child are welcome to join us for Sharing Time. Siblings eligible to be in the same class must both be enrolled.

Class Specifics

We will begin and end each class on time. Arriving a little before class provides time for your child to settle in and prepare to enjoy the musical learning environment to the fullest.

Please keep toys, juice cups, and pacifiers out of sight during class.
Please finish snacks (including chewing gum) prior to class.

Because children learn best using all their senses, we do not wear shoes in class. Please bring socks if you prefer not to be barefoot. Be sure to dress comfortably.

In classes for older children, parents are welcome to observe but will not participate until the last few minutes of class. Parents are encouraged to enjoy the other merchants of Riverside Village during the first thirty minutes of these classes.

At certain times during the year, we are pleased to share a FREE class with you. To receive your FREE CLASS VOUCHER, please call 615-262-9667 or contact us with your request. Include your mailing address, and we will gladly mail your voucher two weeks before the scheduled demo.

Looking for Discounts?

At the beginning of each session, special discounts will be offered for those who register with a best friend or sibling.

Early Birds

Prior to each semester or summer session, we advertise an Early Bird date. By registering on or before this date, you will receive a special product or discount. This information can be found on our current flyers.

Refunds

Unfortunately, registration and tuition cannot be refunded or prorated due to absences or illness. Refunds or credit vouchers may be given if extenuating circumstances require withdrawal. These circumstances will be considered on an individual basis. In those instances, 20% of the paid tuition is non-refundable. Home materials in new condition may be returned only if your spot can be filled by another student.
